The Skink is one of Boss Cass henchmen from the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series. Their design shows that they dress as cricket players with cricket bats. Their weakness is they can be defeated easy like the other enemies Ty faced in two different ways; the first way is the use the Flamerang which burns the bat and causes them to run, the second way is to bite the lizard which lops off the tail, leaving him to run.
In Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, Skinks appeared in the realm Monkey Monastery. They attack Spyro by whacking him with their cricket bats if he gets too close. They can be defeated with the charge attack or the electricity breath.
Skinks do not appear in Ty 2.

The Skinks makes a small appearance as some of the citizens of Cassopolis wandering the city, they are also seen wearing new armour.
